Checkout The Conditions Shina Peller Had To Meet Before His Club, Quilox, Was Re-opened

Days after Quilox was sealed by the Lagos State Government on grounds of noise pollution and obstruction of free flow of traffic, the club has been reopened after its management expressed their commitment to meeting the demands of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA).

First, the club will henceforth carry out its activities without obstructing traffic flow by ensuring clients’ vehicles are parked properly in designated areas. Secondly, sounds emanating from musical events hosted within the club’s facility will not exceed the recommended limits as set by the state.

This announcement was made by the General Manager of LASEPA, Dr Dolapo Fasawe.
The club was sealed few hours after its owner, Shina Peller, who is an honourable member of the House of Representatives, was arrested by the Nigerian Police Force. There are conflicting reports as to why this arrest was made. While the honourable claims he had only gone to bail some people that were arrested from his club the night before his arrest, the NPF claimed he had arranged for some thugs to invade and cause chaos in their station.

The club has been reopened just in time for the New Year festive activities after missing out on Christmas activities.
